FOCUS TO
REMEMBER THIS MONTH:
God has a unique and wonderful plan
for each of us.
When we follow this plan, our lives are in sync with His will.
Sometimes we confuse our fleshly desires with His desires for
us.
This month, we will focus on taking time to rest and reflect on His
guidance and will for us, because True inner peace and motivation
come from following God’s plan!
Monday
Scripture:
Psalm 117:2
“Great is His faithful love to us.”
DEVOTIONAL:
You do not need to worry about the future. God has a plan for you. He knows what you will face today, tomorrow, forever and how you should navigate through every twist and turn. He has a wonderful plan for you, but you must accept it. You do this by taking time to rest and ask Him to keep you in the center of His will. When problems that stretch your faith come, find peace in the fact that God has a plan for you. He will never forget you. Listen for Him and His plan everyday.
PRAYER:
Dear God, teach me to rest and be still before You and wait for your leading before I move forward. We know it is in times of quiet that You will whisper to us and guide us. Today we will find peace waiting for You to reveal Your plan for us.

Tuesday
Scripture-
Romans 8:28
“We are assured and know that all things work together and are for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose”
DEVOTIONAL:
The apostle Paul does not say that all things are good, but he does say that all things work TOGETHER FOR GOOD. We need to remember this today. If things go wrong do not think to yourself ‘my plans always flop, nothing goes my way’ Instead say this is happening for a reason. This is where God wants me to be today. Sometimes God may be trying to get you to spend some time at home. Remember Paul also tells us to ‘adjust to people and things’ in Romans 12:16. This means we need to plan but not fall apart when things do not go as expected. Remember God has a plan for us. Rest in His guidance everyday and you will find peace
PRAYER:
Dear God, Today we will rest in peace knowing that even when things do not work out we can trust in Your plan for us and that You are guiding us in a direction. Amen.

Wednesday
Scripture-
Acts 17:11
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily whether those things were so.”
DEVOTIONAL:
The Bible says we need to have ‘ready minds’ which means we need to be open to the will of God, no matter what that will may be. Be open to opportunities and relationships in our lives. Having a ready mind means we mourn missed opportunities and faulty relationships, but it also means we say to ourselves, “I am going trust God and His plan for me,” resting in the fact that only He knows what is and is not best for us.
PRAYER:
Dear God, Today we will practice having a ready mind in all situations that arise. We will find peace and motivation in the fact that only You know what is best for us and You are going to bring out the best in every situation. Amen.

Thursday
Scripture-
Psalm 115:1
“Not for our sake, God, no not for our sake, but for your name’s sake, show Your glory. Do it on account of Your merciful love, do it on account of your faithful ways.”
DEVOTIONAL:
As women, it can easy to believe our lives are no more than a mundane, ordinary routine. It is all too easy to do our tasks the same way everyday, letting mediocrity take over our existence. We must remember that we do NOT have to live this way because God is creative. He WANTS us to grow beyond the boundaries we have set for ourselves. When you see limitations He actually sees gateways to new opportunities. Ask Him today, to SHOW you how to encourage others and to glorify the abundant life He has created for You. He has a plan for You—greater than you could ever imagine. Ask Him to show it to you. And view challenges as motivation to become stronger in your faith.
PRAYER:
Dear God, For today, help us to grow in new challenges so we can grow in our faith in You. Show us Your will for us. Open doors so that we can become all that You want me to be. Amen.

Friday
Scripture-
Psalm 143:8
“Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk for I lift up my inner self to You.”
DEVOTIONAL:
We need to pray, then take time to rest and listen. Sometimes we can hear God as a still small voice from deep within our heart. He speaks through His word. Many times god will speak through our inner witness so that we “just know” His truth and it sets us free. Suddenly we just know what we should or shouldn’t do. Remember to stop today, rest and listen for His guidance because He does have a plan and an answer for us—we just need to listen.
PRAYER:
Dear God, Today when we pray we will remember to take time to listen for Your guidance We know we can do anything if it is Your plan for us. So we will find motivation in peace by waiting for You. Amen.
