Week of July 12th
Romans 12:1
“In
view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as living
sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your
spiritual act of worship.”
We
have a say in how we treat our bodies. God commands
that we offer them back to him as a sacrifice. He wants
us to care about ourselves in a way that is pleasing to
Him. Self-care is important!
Week of June 27th
Mark 12:30
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength”
As we focus on
loving God with everything that we have, it becomes a
blessing to work hard for Him, stay focused on Him, and
let our emotional stability rest on Him
alone.
Week of June 21st
Colossians 3 : 2
“Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things”
What a powerful
reminder that the things on this earth are not as
important as Heavenly things. Our daily focus needs to
constantly be directed on Godly things.
Week of June 13th
Romans 12:12-13
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
As we are working on a
focus on prayer this month, may we make this
communication with God a lifeline each
day.
