Week of July 27th – Psalm 139:14 and 139:17-18
"I praise you because I am
fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well. How precious to me
are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of
them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the
grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. "
– Psalm 139:14 and 139:17-18
(This will be a key verse to focus on all week. God
has created our bodies and we are to take care of
them daily. We are to awake each morning and get on
our knees, thankful for the life He has given us, and
be willing to walk in His ways all day long.
)
Thursday, July 17th - Phillipians 3:14
“I press on toward the goal
to win the prize for which God ahs called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus “
Friday, July 18th – Romans 12:12-13
Saturday, July 19th – Ephesians 6:10-11
“Be strong in the Lord and
in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so
that you can take your stand against the devil’s
schemes.”
(This is our primary defense, we must be prepared
each day!)
Sunday, July 20th- Philipians 4:6-7
“Do
not be anxious about anything, but in everything by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Monday, July 21st – Romans 8:37
“In
all things, we are more than conquerors through him
who loved us.”
Tuesday, July 22nd – Ephesians 5:1-2
“Be
imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and live
a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave
himself up for us as a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God.”
(Seek out ways to live this life of love towards
others)
Wednesday, July 23rd – Romans 12:1
“In
view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as living
sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your
spiritual act of worship.”
(This is such a key verse for our health. Hold tight
to the truth here!)
Monday
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit!"
Tuesday
"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."
(It is God's day, and we need to see what we can do for Him during this day, not what we can do for ourselves.)
Wednesday
"Do not love the world or anything of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For everything in the world...comes not from the Father, but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."
