Week of October 13th - Colossians 3:2
"Set your
mind on things above and not on earthly things."
(We need to do our best to remember this scripture on
a daily basis. When we can get our focus on the Lord,
and off of ourselves, everything is
better!)
Week of October 5th - 1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Week of September 29th - Philippians 2:3-5
Do nothing
out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in
humility consider other better than yourself. Each of
you should look not only to your own interests, but
also to the interest of others. Your attitude should
be the same as that of Christ Jesus.
[As we are developing better health, let us remember
that we are taking care of ourselves so we can better
serve those around us each day. Have a blessed week,
looking out for the interests of others.]
Week of September 22nd - Psalm 37:5-6
"Commit your
ways to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will act. He
will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and
your justice as the noonday."
Remember that our whole lives (even including
exercise, health and fitness) need to be committed to
the Lord. He is in charge, and wants us to daily
trust in Him, and watch as He acts in our
lives.
